Change begins today
Well, it actually began over a year ago. Last July, I started working out at a local gym. With that, I also felt the need to fuel my body with more than sugar or processed food, so I’d carry great options with me wherever I went. By October, I had lost 25 pounds. This isn’t a huge amount, but it was built on very few restrictions to my diet, and the exercise was pumping me up. I felt great.
Through a few things like an appendectomy and withdrawing from the gym, I stopped exercising completely in January. I still felt more energetic, most of the weight stayed off, and we started doing physical things as a family—like playing tennis every Sunday afternoon.
Now, 16 months later, I am still down 15 pounds, but I don’t have the physical energy or desire to be active. I want that back. I want it for HEALTH. Today marks my official start back into the exercising life, which will be quickly followed by our shift to the GF/CF diet.
This blog differs from my pieces of linda blog in that it’s a simple daily journal of my activities, food issues, progress, and findings as I morph into health. That’s it! No poetry, no stories of school or shopping. Just a peek into my personal journey from drudge to vivacity.

Wow I have two friends that you look like (or at least your picture). It’s kind of weird.
I hope your goals are accomplished.
Blessings,
