Day 2, sick to stomach
Very tired, barely eating, and sick to stomach. Hope tomorrow is better, especially since I have to work at 4am.
Yesterday’s cardio, this morning
I walked this morning because I was so tired last night. Annoyed too, for no particular reason. So I went to sleep and rested in my microfleece sheets, waking today much happier and peaceful.
Only walked 20 minutes, though, in anticipation of my training workout this afternoon and also seeing things around the house I want to get to: organizational things like setting up my craft area and filtering through the kids’ old toys. It’s my day off and I want to accomplish something.
Last night kicked my butt!
Here is my training plan á la Justin:
1. Stairs
2. Wall Sit
3. Dumbbell Pullover
4. 1 Arm Row
5. Dumbbell Biceps Curl on Ball
6. Dumbbell Bench Press on Ball
7. Overhead Dumbbell Triceps Press
8. Abdominal Crunch Hold on Ball
9. Bows & Toes
I was surprised at how difficult the biceps curls were last night. I had to use extreme focus and determination to complete 40 of them (each arm) and, in the end, I could barely complete Bows & Toes because of arm exhaustion. But I presume Justin would say those are signs of a good workout and that I’m not to go down in the weights.
I’ll use my internal trainer and push myself to keep improving. The cool thing is that I really can feel a difference, even only a week back into it.
What is a wall sit?
Thanks for asking, Kelly. Here’s an explanation.
Treadmill tunes fri.
Here are my treadmill tunes from today:

I Write Sins Not Tragedies—Panic! At the Disco
The Rock Show—Blink-182

Super Disco Breakin’—Beastie Boys
Owner of a Lonely Heart—Yes
All By Myself—Jamie O’Neal
Drowning—Hootie and the Blowfish
Weightiness
Ok, so no pictures of hair color, but I did workout.
Here’s the story:
I started with wall sits and moved on to dumbbell exercises. It seemed like everything had a greater impact on my muscles than normal, but I just attributed that to the lapse in working out. Halfway through my regimen, I was really working hard—I could handle it, but it took a lot of mental power to do so. As I recorded the last of my exercises on my training log, I realized that I had been using the same weights Brian lifts. No wonder my arms were shaking. No wonder I kind of felt like vomiting. I have to say, though, that I felt really good at the end of it all, and felt even better at 3am when I had to wake up this morning.
Justin says I can’t go back now. I think I’m ok with that.
Quick note: weights after Celebrity Apprentice
I will do weights after Celebrity Apprentice. I will, I will. Then, I will color my hair and shower. I will, I will.
Tomorrow, I will let you know how it goes, considering the month lapse in training.
I may even share a picture of my hair color.
Running, pathetic style
But I am proud of it, anyhow. I walked/ ran for 39 minutes today. Felt really good after such a long and lovely holiday season. The kids go back to school tomorrow, and that reality (of schedules returning and tightened time lines) prompted me to get going.
Happy New Year!
Does inconsistent = results?
No.
But that’s ok, and now that Thanksgiving and family visits are over, I’m back into the groove. Look for updates throughout this week.

Zippo on the last two days
Zero
Zippo
Excuses
We’re getting ready for the holiday, Bri’s family coming out to visit, and then add lots of homework and shopping at the mall for hours. It’s a doughnut, a zippo on exercising the last two days, but no fear! I’m coming back to it today and will let you know how it goes.
